BusyMAD is a BiciMAD statistics map for Madrid built on open data. An independent project — not affiliated with EMT or the City Council.
Where does the data come from?
From aggregated EMT open data (and Madrid City Council open data). Since 2026 we collect and aggregate that material to build historical statistics. BusyMAD does not operate BiciMAD.
What does the map show?
Available bikes per station and hour (color is the availability percentile vs the rest of the network at that hour), daytime averages, and a relative rating vs the rest of the network (by bike count, not fill rate).
Is this the official BiciMAD app?
No. It is a personal project exploring open and historical data; the official app is for real-time travel.
